The Ruusbroecgenootschap, research centre associated with the Faculty of Arts , is seeking to fill the following position:
Full-time collaborator (m/f) for the FWO-research project Authorship, composition and textual interconnectedness of three 16th-century mystical texts. Die evangelische peerle, Vanden tempel onser sielen, and the Arnhem mystical sermons. A stylometric approach (1/4/2012-31/03/2016 )
Profile
- master’s degree in Dutch Language and Literature, or another relevant discipline with demonstrable competence in the research field
- strong research focus
- proven competence in Dutch spiritual literature and demonstrable interest in the use of computational techniques OR proven competence in the use of computational techniques and demonstrable interest in the interpretation of Middle Dutch spiritual literature
- ability to read English, German and French
- knowledge of Latin is an advantage
Job contents
- To prepare, and finish within the four-year time limit, a doctoral dissertation relating to the theme of the project
- To publish at least two articles in international scientific journals
- To present papers at international conferences and workshops

- Full-time, four years, beginning on 1 April 2012.
