Offre d’emploi – The Print Room of the Royal library of Belgium seeks assistant for the cataloging of its drawings

The Royal library of Belgium is seeking a full time assistant from 1 October 2012 until 31 December 2014 for the project The drawings in the Royal Library of Belgium: identification and valorisation through the Web : DOW (programma Agora). The print room in the Royal library of Belgium keeps a large collection of drawings (ca. 25.000 pieces). This part of the collection is relatively unknown and only rarely studied by researchers. A printed catalogue does not exist. The project’s target is to make the collection accesible on the web, with descriptions of high scholarly quality and with links to good images, bibliographical references and related documents.
