‘The Medieval City in the Islamic World’, international workshop

In a joint effort with the Centre for Turkish Studies (RU Gent), the Centre for Urban History (Universiteit Antwerpen) will host an international workshop on ‘The Medieval City in the Islamic World’. The purpose will be to ascertain knowledge and research on urban history in Northern Africa and the Middle-East, spanning the period between the 7th and 16th century.
