Web – Ultra high resolution images of Jan van Eyck’s Virgin and Child in Australia

The Ince Hall Virgin and Child is a painting in the collection of the National Gallery of Victoria, Melbourne (inv. no. 1275/3). It was acquired from the Weld-Blundell Collection at Ince Hall, Ince Blundell, in Lancashire, England, in 1922. Below are provided links to download high-resolution images of the painting in direct, raking, and ultraviolet light, for study purposes. The images were made in 2013 using a Hassleblad MS200 camera and a Hasselblad 120 mm Macro lens, captured in 4 and 6 shot mode. The copyright of these images remains the property of the National Gallery of Victoria.
