The Department of English Studies seeks to appoint an Assistant Professor in Medieval Literary Studies with effect from September 2023.

Applicants should have appropriate teaching experience and research interests within the broad area of medieval literary studies. The post-holder will be expected to contribute to teaching across the medieval period, including Old English and/or Old Norse, and will have the ability to contribute to teaching beyond the medieval period. Applicants should demonstrate experience or interest in any aspect of digital literary studies.
