A fine new copy. The proceedings of a conference held in November 2014, at the Bell Library in Perth, the closest public venue available for a conference to Scone itself. The conference and the research project on Scone and related sites were the brainchild of the late Oliver J. T. O?Grady, an archaeologist who had come to specialise in such sites. The eleven essays in the book contain studies of Scottish, Norwegian, Swedish, German and Celtic sites, together with Westminster Abbey. Includes a bibliography and index.
