12th Ards Annual Conference on Current Research in Medieval and Renaissance Sculpture and Conference Iconostalla Misericordia International Leuven (BE), M Leuven, 21-23 May 2025.

The conference programme
The conference program features 13 lectures and a keynote by Justin Kroesen. One excursion explores the museum in relation to the conference theme, including the permanent collection, a temporary exhibition, and an object session for close study of artworks. Another excursion visits churches in Leuven, such as Saint Gertrude Church and Saint Peter’s Church. The final excursion is a full-day trip to Aarschot, Diest, and Zoutleeuw. Several coffee and tea breaks are included, while the conference dinner, drinks, and Friday lunch are optional.
