22-23 November 2018
Interdisciplinary studies around relics and reliquaries are drawing more and more the interest of the historians, the scientists, the conservators, the anthropologists, … and the general public.
Each project of this nature involves and brings together scientists of exact science and SSH fields. Their researches lead to increasing knowledge concerning saints, works of art, environment and History.
As a result of the productive workshop Relics @ the Lab (KIK-IRPA, Brussels, 2016) and the successful completion of CROMIOSS project, the Archaeological Society of Namur (SAN) is organising a two-day workshop at the Royal Library of Belgium in Brussels.
We want this meeting to be an opportunity to exchange information, ideas, approaches and processes for all the scientists involved in these kind of transdisciplinary projects. This two-day workshop is also a good opportunity for general public to discover some ambitious international research projects.
