Goethe University Frankfurt am Main invites applications for the position ofProfessor (W2 with tenure track) of Medieval Historyat the Faculty of Philosophy and History.
This civil servant or public employee position will start 01.October 2022.
This is a tenure-track position for an initial six-year term. If tenure is approved at the end of the term, theposition will be made permanent and promotion to the rank of Distinguished Professor (W3) will begranted.
The successful candidate will represent the subject in research and teaching and will be expected toparticipate in collaborative research projects, especially the research initiative Religious Dynamics. Thepr ofessorship is also involved in teacher training; experience and concepts for teaching subject content inschools are welcome.
